Our italian greyhound puppies in new homes (Ireland, France, Spain)

Seems they were born just week ago…but time passed so fast… Will start from the last trips we had – from France… This monday I came back from Paris – as I was travelling with our baby Freya (Silvento Freya) to her new home…Each time I travel to Paris – I meet some adventures. For my luck this time I missed plane from Warsaw to Paris as plane from Kiev to Warsaw was late for 4 hours and all that 4 hours I spent with Freya in the airport. Due to wonderful people – I met in the airport in Kiev  – I had very nice company to spend evening in Warsaw in the best way. Polish airlines had to host me in the hotel and it was Marriott, that by the way doesn’t accept pets …But for sure It didn’t stop me at all and Freya spend excellent night after the walk around Warsaw old city – in the hotel, sleeping near me. In this way I was late to Paris for 15 hours but  in any case I met Diana and Jorg – owners of Freya (Diana and Jorg on the photo from left – near Versaille palace. Freya lives now in Boulogne-Billancourt (often colloquially called simply Boulogne), is a commune in the western suburbs of Paris (France), in the family with one more blue italian greyhound female and King Charles Spaniel. I do thankful to Jorg and Diana for the time they spend with me in Paris, and for the possibility they presented to Freya of having such wonderful owners : ) Before France it was – Spain… This…

2 CACIB, Cup of Lemberg and Galichina

Actually this dog show  in Lviv (also called Lwow) was not planned by me or Tanya…but week before the show started we decided to go to Lviv, mostly for some kinda excursion around Lviv that we all love so much : ) So I, Tanya and Liuda Zarudna started from Kiev at 3 am and arrived to Lviv at almost 10 am, except one IG aboard – Silvento Euthenia, we had also pug in the car and 2 more dogs of other breeds that I promissed my friends to take to Lviv, thanks god I have huge car : ) and the most important I had small princess Azzurra Fiesta Ventura aboard – but about this I will write a bit later )). So regarding the show, Pepper was strict as always but stil we must admit that we love this judge, last time Tanya showed Silvento Diamoura Angioletta under Pepper in Sevastopol where she got her BOB, this time Diamoura’s daughter Silvento Euthenia got BOB as well under Pepper.  It was long show indeed and we waited for our ring till almost 6 pm, if to consider that I didnt sleep since 2 am so hard to describe how I felt myself there…Except Euthenia there was one more italina greyhounds at the show, male that entered the ring for the first time – Saverio Dei Raggi di Luna, who was best puppy during both days of the show. Dog-shows in Kharkiv and Dnepropetrovsk

Well, probably I missed news from 3 dog-shows where our dogs were showed. Will start from the begining. In Kharkiv on May 1, when all the Ukraine had day-off because of the interhanional holiday, Natasha, owner of Silvento Eucleia (aka Leica), spent half of the day at the dog-show with Leica – it was first show of Leica is junior size. Not looking to her VERY small height Leica took jBOB and jCAC. Judge- Oleynikova Zoya (Ukraine)Silvento Eucleia – exc  jCAC  jBOB On May 11-12 we decided not to spend holidays in Kiev but to go to Dnepropetrovsk with Tanya Stanishcheva – our right-hand in the kennel. It was double CAC show, where 2 italian greyhounds from our kennel were showed – Silvento Euthenia and Lucilla Forum Romanum. Silvento Euthenia (Zenya) was jBOB both days, she looks better and better after the trauma and only one jCAC is left for Zenya to obtain JCH UA title, Lucilla Forum Romanum (Lucci) was BOB both days and BIG-3 on the first day of the show and BIG-2 on second day of the show. Not looking to awful roads after this winter in Ukraine, long way, slow traffic (or we had to drive 60km/h or 180 km/h – and nothing average) – we still enjoyed our trip, saw Katya and Sasha, our grand-children – babies of Silvento Diamantine Tenera. Silvento Diamoura Angioletta in Moldova and shows in Kiev

Long time since I wrote news from our kennel. Will start from the most important news we have. On April our good friend and well-known handler in Ukriane – Popova Elena agreed to take our baby Silvento Diamoura Angioletta to the short trip to Moldova, where Amoura was 2 times BIG-1 and managed to finish 2 titles CH of Moldova and Grand CH of Moldova and International Champion title. I’m very thankful for the job that Lena did while was showing Amoura, for her help and care. “Codri of Moldova-2013” Judge – Erodotos Neofytou (Cyprus) 14/04/2013 Silvento Diamoura Angioletta – САС  CACIB  ВОВ ВIG-1 Grand CH of Moldova “Spring Cup of Moldova – 2013” Judge – Olga Sinko (Slovenia) 13/04/2013 Silvento Diamoura Angioletta – САС  CACIB  ВОВ ВIG-1 CH of Moldova and INT CH Just after the Moldova CACIBs, there was double CACIB in Kiev where 2 our Italians were entered – Luccila Forum Romanum – who got r.CAC on both days and Silvento Euthenia – in Junior class where 4 bitches were entered and was placed as 3d on the second day and on the first day took verygood die to the trauma she had before the dog-show. In any case both girls showed nice results.

Puppies. Our F-litter

It was long day and night indeed, but we coped with all the problems and finally Hellica Forum Romanum after 14 hours of whelping presented us 2 puppies from the male imported from Latvia. There are cream female in the litter and fawn male. Happy mother Helli and puppies feel just great! Puppies got their names from the mythology like the last litter had, it is going to be  a tradition – this time it is Norse mythology. So names of the babies are: FREYA – is a goddess associated with love, sexuality, beauty, fertility, gold. And male was called – FREY – was associated with sacral kingship, virility and prosperity, with sunshine and fair weather. According to mythology Frey was a brother of Freya I’m thankful to all the friends who helped us, kept their fingers crossed for Helli!

Our grandchildren in KL Fiesta Ventura

We are happy to announce that in the kennel of our friends – 2 females of italian greyhound were born from the bitch out of our breeding – Silvento Diamantine Tenera, that lives in Dnepropetrovsk  and male imported from Latvia – Eledi Grace Rubiano. It was the first whelping for Tina and she coped with this with no problems. I’m proud of Katya and Sasha as it is their first litter in the kennel and quite a good one. They registered their kennel name only this year – Fiesta Ventura. It took more than a week for Katya and Sasha to give names for babies, so they got finally very nice names: Azzurra Fiesta Ventura and Alvera Fiesta Ventura, more info you may find in the section Puppies of out web-ste.

Puppy plans

Long time passed since our last puppies updates : ). So finally we have situation a bit clear – Silvento Diamantine Tenera is defenetly pregnant from Eledi Grace Rubianno and puppies are expected from 18 to 22 March already, according to ultrasound that Tina had she is gonna have 2 babies! All the info – including future pedigree of this litter you may find on PUPPIES section. Owners of Tina finally got confirmation for registration of their own kennel name, so Tina will become the foundation bitch in their kennel and will give – I hope – nice litter for new ukrainian kennel of Katya and Sasha “Fiesta Ventura” (Dnepropetrovsk, UA). Other more great news are from our own kennel Silvento – our Hellica Forum Romanum, according to ultrasound that you may find on my youtube stream Pregnancy Video 1, Pregnancy Video 2, Pregnancy Video 3, is pregnant by 2 babies and whelping is expected from 30 Mar – 3 April. On the photo you may see one of her babies. Lucilla Forum Romanum at Moldova shows

It was great opening of show season of this year! I had business trip to Emirates and was gonna blow – as had my plane just when Katya, owner (co-) of Lucci was entering her ring in Moldova so till I had my flight for 5 hours – I missed EVERYTHING!!! It was some kinda great trip to Moldova for Katya and Lucci – 3 shows each days, 4 new titles, new experience, lots of prizes and BEST IN SHOW-2 for Lucci : ) Great weekend! I’m thankful to Katya who did such a long way with Lucci and coped with her handling in the ring in the best way. I do worried for them both and kept my fingers crossed all two days even being 5000 km from them! So here are the full results of Lucci from that shows! The biggest shows in UA – Crystal Cup of Ukraine, Kyivska Rus’

The biggest shows of the year in Ukraine were held in Kiev, where dogs that are owned by our kennel again showed great sucсess. Just one year ago at the same dog show – Kyivska Rus’ – 2011 our Italian greyhound girl SILVENTO Diamoura Angioletta became BOS as well as this year her friend, our IG – Hellica Forum Romanum. It was a nice dog show, full of nice meetings, I finally sold my car – just after winning BOB with Lucilla Forum Romanum. Also due to the trauma of mine knee (meniscal tear) – I could hardly move at the ring, each time when I had seat or run I was ready to die and it was a surprice to see photos after the ring where I smiling as I thought I will just cry there due to pain I had. So show was really successful for our kennel as always, Hellica finished her CH UA title on the second day of the show – Crystal Cup, Luccila finished title Junior Grand Champion of UA and became the first italian greyhound in Ukraine who ever got this title! Well done, Lucci! On the second day of the show italian greyhounds were judged by Wieremiejczyk-Wierzchowska Malgorzata (Poland) and during the first day by Lisbeth Mach (Schwitzerland) – who was strickt as always and meny dogs left the ring with mark vg…Lisbeth Mach measured our tiny Hellica Forum Romanum, 33 cm officially. Silvento team in Kharkiv

While I stacked in Kiev due to work I had our Silvento team was showed in Kharkiv. All 3 puppies from our last litter – E were showed at that dog-shows: Silvento Euthenia, Silvento Eleusis and finally the smallest one – Silvento Eucleia. So team from Kiev was presented there by two dogs – Silvento Euthenia and Eleusis also our Dnepropetrovsk team came to Kharkiv with Silvento Diamantine Tenera and Luccila Forum Romanum and for sure Silvento Eucleia who lives in Kharkiv. Silvento Eleusis became best baby at the first day of the sow and Silvento Euthenia during the second day. Luccila Forum Romanum almost finished her title of Junior GRAND Champion of Ukraine and princess Silvento Diamantine Tenera became BOB, judged by Polivanov from Russia as well as BOB on the second day of the show judjed by Baklushin from Russia. Tina got her 9th BOB there and finished the title of Best Representative of the Breed in Ukraine and was BIG-1 during both days!!! I’m so proud of my girls and their owners – WELL DONE! And just happy that my dogs live by such responsible people, Katya and Sasha, Tanya, Natasha – my thanks to all of you!
