Just after I have left the ship I got happy SMS from Kiev from the first day of CACIB dog-show about our Italian sighthound girl and after a sleepless night in the airport in Venice I was already in the ring at “Ukraine-2016” dogshow – it was second day of double CACIB. I was showing our Cirneco del Etna dog – little star who had her last day at puppy class as since April 25 Siri had to enter Junior class. I’m thankful to Lyuba Syroshtan and Tanya Stanishcheva – our italian sighthound friends for all the help they did for me during that day. 48 hours without sleeping is something … As a result – italian greyhound Silvento Gaia finished her CH UA title while I was in Italy and was handled by her handler Sasha Ushakov and seems she won’t be showed anymore as Gaia lost all her interest for the shows she had before and from other side cirneco Creta del Gelso Bianco finally entered junior class  and became Best Puppy for the last time. The first IMPORT from SICILY to UKRAINE of Cirneco Dell’Etna ❤ Seems it is a huge event in the history of Ukraine as we have imported Cirneco from its motherland – Sicily from the oldest kennel of this breed in Italy / Sicily. Our sweetheart, baby with the strongest temperament, intelligent, smart, red-beauty “vulcanic” girl of Cirneco dell’Etna from the oldest Sicilian kennel Del Gelso Bianco. We waited for cirneco for 5 years, we chose from the best one puppies in the kennel from several litters and we are so thankful to Mr. Aiello Giuseppe and all his huge lovely family for this possibility and their final strong word that made me to take the correct decision when I came to them…It was the love from the first sight both with the Aiello family and our CRETA DEL GELSO BIANCO aka “Siri”. It was the best experience ever to visit La famiglia Aiello, they are so lovely, kind people – I’m just in love with this family, kennel, place they live and what they did for Cirneco breed, also known as Sicilian hound! So many people where involved into this from all part of the world, someone helped with the translation due to my awful italian, someone with exterior questions etc. I’m so thankful to Nerina Vera Aiello and the rest of Aiello family who made my time in Sicily so amazing. 10 hours of the trip with me in the cabin of the aircraft and she is at home in Kiev. Italian greyhound (windspiel) Silvento Isida who lives in Germany had really good results at the one of the biggest dog-shows in Germany – 6 090 dogs entered, 13 Italian Greyhounds. It was kinda suprise for us to find out that Isida will be entered to the dog-show. Silvento Isida was the best puppy from the litter and we have hardly decided to let her go so far from Kiev and were informed from the beginning by her owner that she will not be showed at the dog shows but will be loved and have an amazing life with her whippet friend. So it was really amazing news to hear that her owner Beate has changed her mind and took the decision to show her at the dog-show. Without any handling lessons and being first time in the ring both for owner Beate and Silvento Isida – this team made an amazing result. There we 2 more girls in Junior class – Сaprice Di Casina Delle Rose and more experienced bitch Amazing Sparks Betsy Bam Bam that was showed already a lot in Germany and in Milano WorldDogShow 2015. As for the first time for our team and having a competition in the class – they were placed as 2d. Well done )) We are so thankful to Beate, owner of Isida, for showing her – it was right decision. Several days ago we took our sweetheart  – italian greyhound Silvento Euthenia to Poland -1600 km were passed and … Silvento Euthenia became the first italian greyhound from Ukraine that has passed OFICCIAL health test by polish ophthalmologist specialist and has obtained certificate of ESVO (European Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology). We are happy to announce that her eyes are clear : ) This official test was not only a huge step by our kennel but it was indeed a huge step for all the breed in Ukraine and we do hope rest of the owners of this breed in UA will start to test their dogs as well and will use only healthy dogs in their breeding too.
