Italian greyhound puppies are leaving to new homes

Time passed and our babies are ready to leave our home in 1 week when they are 3 months old. The first one who left the home was  Silvento Galatea, aka “Tea”, she went to amazing new family in Russia (Moscow). It is smart, funny girl with huge love to all human beings. I took Tea to Belarus due to the problems in UA-RUS boarder, so in Belarus in 600 km from our home she met with her owner from Russia – Marina. I wish my sweet italian greyhound baby love and good care in her new home.  Just wanna add that I’m thankful to UA boarder workers for their help, to Marina – owner of Tea and her friend Sveta who passed such a distance to meet me, to my friend and co-owner of our dogs Tanya – for her help during my driving the car, to belarusian policeman who let me leave without paying the fee – it was a nice trip indeed. Second puppy – Glau, aka Silvento Glaucus, will leave the home in  one week already. He will leave to Europe, not far from me and we kept breeding rights on him so one day, I hope, he will be used in our breeding and I suppose I will meet him this year during my weekends in Europe. Glau is an amazing boy with very-very nice movement and brave temperament. Italian greyhounds of Silvento kl at the shows on June

We were so happy with our italian greyhound puppies that totally forgot about show news and our elder dogs. During this weekend there was a CACIB dog show in Dnepropetrovsk where Katya showed Lucilla Forum Romanum. Here are the results from the dog-show in Dnepropetrovsk city: Judge – Peter Harsanyi (Hungary) – 4 IGs 15/06/2014 Dnepropetrovsk, CACIB Lucilla Forum Romanum – exc  САС  BB  CACIB  ВОВ  BIG-1 My cograts to Katya and Sasha with Luci’s results. Not looking to her post-whelping period she looks great! Want to admit good result of IG from our E-litter. Silvento Eleusis was showed at the double CAC show in Kiev (June 7-8). He was not very successful on the first day and got VG but was showed well by his co-owner. During day 2 of the show Eleusis won the ring and became BIG-3 from 4 sighthounds. Well done! Our Italian Greyhound puppies finally available for reservation

Italian greyhound puppies (Chiots PLI) of our kennel Silvento are finally available for reservation. Babies are 2 months old, all puppies were microchipped, had their first vaccination and all finally have all good seen milk-teeth and with a safe conscience we are ready to open reservation on our italian greyhound puppies. At the moment destiny of one of the puppy was decided, actually it was decided long time ago )) Silvento Galatea was reserved almost month ago to Russia as a pet-dog due to her “too much of white” on the chest and neck…unfortunatelly, but at least we are happy that she will get the best family : ) In a few weeks Galatea will leave to her new home with me by the car. Rest of the italian greyhound puppies will be ready to leave our home after June 22, at the moment we offer Glaucus and Gaia for co-ownership or full sale. Silvento Glauscus – aka Glau or Cus-cus, he is called mini-Hellica as well : ) Glaucus is tiny puppy and will be about 33-34 cm in height – perfect companion-dog in future that may be showed from time to time if he has 2 well developed testicles in future. Silvento Gaia – our super-kisser, it is just cannot be described how tender is this puppy. Long ears, amazing head and eyes – she just looks to the deepest place of your heart when you see her eyes. Our candidate to “stay with us”, but I will try to cope with myself and try good co-owners for her abroad or in Ukraine, doesnt matter, or just a lovely show-home for this…

Italian greyhound puppies – 1 month old, G litter

Our italian greyhound puppies are one month old – the most happy time started finally. Babies run like crazy already, sing their songs telling us “play with me” and the most loved thing is kissing all the people they see. In a few days we will start taking reservation on puppies, two babies will be available for co-ownership for a friendly price OR full sale – depends on many things. Seems I still need some time to think about it. All babies are so different by temperament and behave – someone is calm, someone is crazy and always ready to play: Silvento Galatea aka Tea, our tender and curious baby. Galatea is a true italian greyhound from her early birth if to look on her temperament…even when she couldn’t walk normally she climbed on me, looking to my eyes, telling “take me, mom”. Tea has huge love to all the people she see and indeed is very tender baby. BTW Tea is already reserved. Silvento Glaucus aka “Cus-cus” – very calm and playful boy. At home I used to call him “little man” as he do will be just a bit higher than his mother Hellica and I just harly keep myself from leaving him at home. Glaucus is offered for co-ownership for a friendly price or full sale. Silvento Gaia aka Gaia – our bauty, tender and sweet baby who likes to play for an hours with the toys even not looking to her small age. She is quite smart, may seat and look on you for 15 minutes. Italian greyhound puppies arrived :)

We are happy to announce about italian greyhound puppies from our sweet Hellica – who gave birth to 3 beautiful blue puppies (1+2) on APRIL 10, all puppies are cream carriers. COI → 9.375 % (4 generations) and inbreeding was to Il Cagnolino Fernando. Helli was mated at the begining of February – 3 males that I do liked were fount, all they lived outside Ukraine, I wrote their pedigree down, thought a lot about what I want from this litter and at some moment I decided to go abroad not looking to all the difficulties we had in Ukraine and to use one of that males. 1900 km were passed by my car, 32 hours actually – I’m totally ill and Helli is tired but we did it : ) Helli met her fiance at late evening, handsome cream italian greyhound male with nice temperament, lovely head and pedigree –  Perito Moreno Forum Romanum. Seems we were lucky to use Perito in our breeding, before he left away to Australia. Helli was again tested on eyes, heart and knees on Dec 2013 and yes, she is totally healthy as well as her “boyfriend” Perito. Whelping was quite easy and all babies feel well! Silvento Eleusis, Moldova, Romania dog-shows

There was a double CACIB dog-show in Moldova where the italian greyhound male of our breeding took part. Silvento Eleusis was showed at the dog-show by his owner Luybov Siroshtan. Italian greyhounds, puppy plans 2014

At the begining of the year we had 2 “studs abroad”, actually one stud in Poland and one stud with french italian greyhound male that came to Ukraine on our request for a stud service. We had 3 studs planned and more info you may find at the PUPPIES section of our web. We were and still ARE the only one kennel of italian greyhounds in Ukraine who make health tests to our IG girls. And for sure we prefer to use tested IG males in breeding but unfortunatelly not all owners of their males make tests to their dogs. More info about our upcoming litters:   ♥ Silvento Diamoura Angioletta – we plan to use Amoura at the end of this summer. She was mated on January to Mr. beauty from France Darius Des Pitchoun Diables. But due to the reasons that didn’t depend on us she wasn’t mated during her hunting even if to consider that we came earlier to the stud. She was mated once and rest of the time we had to “enjoy” staying in other city. We do had hopes that she is pregnant not looking to everything as lot’s of affords were done to go to that stud but ultrasound told us that she is not pregnant. Looking to all the problems we had – next time we will use for sure other male and soon his name will be anounced. Mating is planned for August-September. Amoura had eyes checked in Dec 2013 heart – OK, eyes – OK, knees 0/0, as well as blood was tested she is totally healthy. ♥ Hellica Forum Romanum – was mated at the begining of…

Italian greyhounds of Silvento kl, results of 2013 year

This year was indeed successful for all our Silvento team. So a bit of result from 2013: 1) Italian greyhounds of Silvento team visited more than 30 dog-shows this year, just to compare – last year we visited only 25, 17 of that dog-shows were abroad Ukraine.  And it is a second year when dog that is owned by us, by winning the breed, closed the last one dog-show and the most importeant one show of the year Cristal cup of Ukraine 2013; 2) Our italian greyhounds have won 17 new titles during this year, during last year we had only 7 if to compare. Silvento Diamoura Angioletta – 3 new titles – Amoura finished her INT CH title (must be confirmed in 2014) as well as finished titles of CH MLD and Grand CH MLD, my congrats to Amoura’s co-owner and my dear friend Tanya. Now Amoura will have her happy long life outside the dog-shows on a sofa enjoying her toys; Silvento Euthenia – 2 new titles and the first one she has! Zenya who actually made us nervous by her behave during last 3 dog-shows was a better girl during the spring-summer time and managed to finish Junior Ch UA and Junior Ch of Belarus titles, well done Zenya; Silvento Eleusis – 2 new titles and the first one he got! Zeus finished Junior Ch UA and Grand Junior Ch UA titles, well done Zeus; Silvento Eucleia – 1 new title and the first one title! The biggest shows in UA – Crystal Cup of Ukraine, Kyivska Rus’ 2013

C’est un deja vu! And indeed it seems like everything happened again this year )). The biggest shows of the year in Ukraine were held in Kiev, where the italian greyhound that is owned by our kennel again showed great sucсess. Just two years ago at the same dog show – Kyivska Rus’ – 2011 our Italian greyhound girl SILVENTO Diamoura Angioletta became BOS as well as last year in 2012 this year her friend, our IG – Luccila Forum Romanum – was Best Junior and on the next day BOB – this year the same dog – Luccila Forum Romanum – did not even the same, but even better results at this dog-shows. It was a nice dog show, full of nice meetings. So both dog-show were really successful for our kennel as always, Luccila finished her CH UA title, CH UKU and Best representative of breed in ukraine titles! Well done, Lucci! Lucci was measured and her official height is 33,5 cm now. And one great thing that happened as well is that I finally fount time to make health check to both Lucci and Hellica Forum Romanum, that was scheduled for December 2013. Dog-show in Moldova and other shows of our IGs in October

While I was abroad, travelling on business for more than one month in Korea, China and Europe our Silvento team made one more surprise for me! Funny, but each dog-show in Moldova of Katya Stepanova – owner of our dogs, and my friend – is connected with my trips, this time there was no exclusion as well. I was in the airport on my way to Hungary when was waiting for the news from Katya, who was already at the show in Moldova. So while I had a nice trip on weekend to Austria and Hudgary with my friend Liuda Zarudnaya (borzoi and italian greyhound kl “Zabava Znaty”) – Katya was showing our italian greyhound Lucilla Forum Romanum in Moldova (5-6 October) where 2 CACIB and 4 CAC shows were held. Italian greyhounds at that dog-shows were judged by Jovanovic Nemanja (Serbia), Hans van den Berg (Netherlands), Cristian Stefanescu (Romania), Lavrova Liudmila (Moldova), Boris Chapiro (France), Dinky Santos (Philippines). My congratulations to Katya with the win of our baby Lucci, who finished 3 new titles during her trip.
