Phoebe for Silvento z Koloseum – an Italian Greyhound girl we had been waiting for even before she was born. More than that – before she was even conceived. We dreamed of a female puppy from a specific sire, and the journey was filled with anticipation. Two months of waiting after the mating, constant updates from the breeder, hopes, and worries. And then came the message: the first girl was born. There were no photos yet, but we didn’t care how many puppies there would be or who else was born – we knew this one was ours.

A few hours later, we found out she was the only girl in the litter. Just one. And that only confirmed it – she was meant to be part of Silvento.

I went to pick her up myself – to Poland, to our dear friend Kassia. I took her in my arms knowing for sure: this is the beginning of something big.

She was named according to our tradition – after a figure from mythology. Phoebe – the Titaness of light, clarity, and prophetic knowledge. And our Phoebe is just like that. Bright, radiant, almost supernaturally energetic. She never stands still for a second. She has a wild temperament, a spark in her eyes, and an unstoppable desire to explore the world. And at the same time – incredible affection, cuddles, and kisses on demand.
