Spain 🇪🇸, Reus, 𝟮x𝗖𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗕 24-25.01.2026
One of those weekends when you go not for titles, but for real evaluation.
The judges @gerard.jipping & Guido Schfer were strict, principled, and uncompromising. I fully agree with their opinions and truly respect and recommend these experts if you want to hear an honest assessment of your dog, not just collect another meaningless title for personal ambition 🤌🏼
Our Cirneco #SilventoRoma saw a show lead for the first time in a year and a half.
In her entire life, she had been shown only once — as a junior in UA 🇺🇦.
There was almost no preparation: a strong virus followed by a terrible tonsillitis, and there I was, running with her in the ring on Saturday with a fever of 38°C.
That exact moment when having a handler is not a luxury, but a necessity. Honestly 😅
We came aiming for CACIB. Sure 😂
We 💯 were honestly afraid of a possible disqualification due to behavior.
In the end, Roma received CAC without CACIB.
Both judges said the same thing — Roma needs training.
Hard to disagree with that.
One very special moment — Kristian was at a dog show for the first time.
In his 2 years and 4 months of life — the very first time 🥹
I still believe dog shows are not the right place for toddlers, but I agreed to bring him for one hour.
And, to be fair…
his behavior was more stable than Roma’s 🤣
Huge thanks to my brother’s family for babysitting Kristian on Saturday,
and to my mom @nstakhorska for saving the situation on both days, especially on Sunday 🤍
And in general…
Sometimes it is incredibly important not to lose yourself, to shake off the dust and return to things that once brought real joy ❤️
As for Roma — she did well. Truly.
I expected it to be worse.
Will I give her another chance? I honestly don’t know yet 🧐
Right now, I simply don’t have the time to train her properly. Unfortunately.
What next? NITRA 🇸🇰 this weekend
